Fine chemicals and intermediates
Intermediates and custom synthesis on demand based on fluorination technology to serve fine chemicals, life sciences (pharma, agro) and industrials applications
FLOWCHART & DESCRIPTION
Fluorinated Intermediates
By combining various organic synthesis technologies, DAIKIN can propose an extensive selection of intermediates such as alcohols, acrylates, carboxylic acids, esters, epoxides, ethers, olefins, amines, iodides, methacrylates and others.
These fluorinated compounds support the production of various kinds of materials and products such as
- monomers
- solvent
- cross-linking agent
- surface treatment
Going further, DAIKIN provides a series of fluorinating agents called "DAIKIN-F Reagents" safe fluorinating agents for synthesis of new fluoro-compounds and are particularly useful for laboratory and bulk synthesis.

Custom Synthesis and Fluorination technology
In addition to designing, synthesis, and purification technologies related to fluorine compounds, DAIKIN has set a proprietary fluorination technology. DAIKIN has, in particular, the unique expertise to offer iodine pentafluoride, rarely used in fluorination reactions due to the difficulty of controlling its reactivity.
This custom synthesis is available to meet the specific processes and need of DAIKIN's partners. This cost-effective service allows a highly selective process to manufacture a variety of organic compounds. Four fluorinated processes are available:
Fluorination Using F2 Gas
Fluorination Using IF5/Et3N-3HF Complex
Fluorination Using Sulfur Tetrafluoride (SF4)
Fluorinated Building Blocks
